These are some of my beautiful young women I get to help with! I got the calling of young women's secretary and the personal progress leader as well, but just temporarily til they found an actual leader for it. At first I was scared out of my mind! I had to do an activity my first week! Talk about pressure. But it turned out really well! We tied a fleece blanket for the Women's Shelter in Midvale and the girls loved it. They finally called a leader though for personal progress but they let me do an activity for my last time and it was so much fun! We had a bridal shower! I got to teach the girls about the importance of temple marriage and we made "my temple plan" envelopes where they got to write their plans for who they would like to marry, and ideas for their wedding. Then we seal them up and they get them back when they graduate, but they can only open them when they either get married or go through the temple. And of course we played bridal shower bingo and snacked on red velvet cupcakes! They had so much fun! I'm loving getting to spend so much time with these girls and for those couple hours on tuesday nights just feel like a kid again and be worry free!
